After fleeing Syria with her family, Mona attends a notoriously chaotic school where she’s just another new refugee kid living in Berlin. Homesick and haunted by memories, Mona asks herself, ‘Now what?’ Thanks to a caring teacher, Mona joins the girls’ soccer team and finds a scrappy group of feisty friends. Based on the Kurdish director’s life experiences, this story is a fresh take on the internal battles kids fight and win together.

This film is spoken in German with English subtitles.
